Mid Pines is one of the few courses in America that recalls the early days of golf in the 1920s, which we embrace whole-heartedly with our annual Hickory Open. This festive tournament attracts a field of 100 Hickory Enthusiasts from all over the world and includes three days of championship golf with period dress and equipment from the 1920s. For more than 50 years, couples from across the U.S. and Canada have joined the “Quest for the Bell” at our annual Couples Jamboree. Enjoy five full days of great food, good friends and old-fashioned Southern hospitality, along with friendly competition and golf instruction on two of the top four courses in North Carolina. Friday, Feb. 12 – Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021 | Open and Senior Divisions
Our annual Mid Pines Invitational, which attracts a strong field of golfers annually, is played on our Donald Ross-designed golf course. The tournament offers two divisions (Open & Senior) and has become one of the most prestigious team events to kick off the tournament season in the southeast. Our annual Pine Needles Invitational features a strong field of amateur golfers from around the country competing over three days on two signature Donald Ross–designed golf courses.
